The ATA Camet is an intermationally standardized customs document established by the World CustomsOrganization (WCO) for the temporary import and export of goods.

With an ATA Carmet, goods can enjoy a range of customs facilitation benefits in participating countries andterritories, including exemption from customs guarantees, import duties and taxes, import and export licensescustoms declaration forms, and, in many cases, simplified customs clearance procedures without requiring alocal customs broker. Because of these advantages, the ATA Carnet is widely known in intermational trade as thePassport for Goods”or the “Duty-Free Customs Clearance Certificate.”
